The easiest and quickest way to cook delicious spinach is to sauté it with garlic in olive oil, adding only salt and black pepper. Keep in mind that this recipe calls for coarse salt. If you substitute it with the same amount of regular salt, you'll oversalt the dish. Sprinkle the cooked spinach with lemon juice and serve as a side dish with any meat, poultry, or fish dish. Minimal ingredients and maximum flavor.

We recommend
Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Rinse the spinach in cold water until thoroughly clean. Dry it in a salad spinner, leaving just a few drops on the leaves.
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan or Dutch oven and sauté the garlic over medium heat for 1 minute, but don't let it brown. Add the spinach, salt, and pepper to the pan, toss with the garlic and oil, cover, and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Then remove the lid, increase the heat, and cook the spinach for another minute, stirring with a wooden spoon, until it's completely wilted. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the spinach to a bowl and top with butter, a drizzle of lemon juice, and a sprinkle of sea salt or coarse salt. Serve the spinach hot.
