Ingredients:

  • 3 cups hazelnuts
  • 3 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1.5 tsp fresh chopped thyme
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp chopped rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Spread the nuts evenly on a baking sheet; bake in a preheated oven at 205°C (405°F) for 10 minutes. Cool slightly, then wrap in a towel and rub to loosen the skins; peel the nuts.
  • Step 2
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Add nuts, thyme, lemon zest, rosemary, salt and pepper; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
