Corn with spicy seasonings - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 4 ears of sugar corn (young corn with white or light yellow grains)
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 4 tbsp (60 g) butter
  • 2 tsp seafood seasoning
  • A little hot salsa verde sauce (See the salsa recipe here)
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Pour water and milk into a heavy-bottomed saucepan, add a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil. Add corn on the cob and cook for 5 minutes. Drain.
  • Step 2
  • In the same pan, melt the butter with the seafood seasoning and salsa verde.

    Mix the corn with the prepared herb butter, add salt to taste.
