Pone is a sweet, savory sweet potato bread that's a traditional part of the American South. It's typically baked for breakfast or dessert. This version by Cardea Brown is a dessert-style bread. "My great-grandmother used to make this recipe. She then passed it on to my grandmother, who later passed it on to me. This bread is similar to a pie, but it's made like a casserole," Cardea shares.
