Tender beef tenderloin cooks quickly and is perfect for kebabs. Cut the meat and pineapple into equal-sized cubes, marinate in orange juice with honey and spices, then alternately thread onto skewers and grill. Serve with yellow rice for a delicious Asian-inspired dinner.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 0.5 cup hot honey
- 0.5 cups orange juice
- 2 tbsp. olive or other vegetable oil
- 1.5 tsp coarse salt
- 1 teaspoon red curry powder
- 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 700 g beef tenderloin, cut into 2.5 cm pieces.
- 4 pineapple rings (canned or fresh), cut into 2.5 cm pieces.
- Yellow rice, for serving
- Special equipment: 8 metal or wooden skewers, 25 cm long.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, orange juice, olive oil, salt, red curry powder, and black pepper. Stir until the honey and oil are dissolved.
- Set aside 1/4 cup of the marinade, then divide the remaining marinade between two zip-lock plastic bags. Place the beef in one bag and the pineapple in the other. Seal both bags and let sit at room temperature for 2 hours. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water while the beef and pineapple marinate.
- Preheat grill to 200°C.
- Remove the beef and pineapple pieces from the bags and pour out the marinade. Pat the meat and pineapple dry. Thread them onto skewers, alternating beef and pineapple, 3-4 pieces of each per skewer.
- Place the skewers over direct heat and grill for 1-2 minutes per side. Brush the kebabs with the remaining marinade. Remove from the grill and serve with yellow rice.
