Quick, individual breakfast pizzas that take no more than 20 minutes to prepare. Use whole-grain English muffins as the base. Cut them in half and top each half with the main ingredients of a delicious pizza: finely chopped tomatoes, olive oil, slices of lean bacon, and slices of mozzarella. Bake in the oven until the cheese melts, sprinkle with aromatic basil, and enjoy a delicious, healthy, and filling breakfast.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 whole grain English muffin, cut in half on the side
  • 1 small tomato, seeded and diced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 thin slice (15 g) Canadian bacon (smoked brisket), diced
  • 1/4 tbsp. grated mozzarella
  • Chopped basil for serving

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat oven to 230°C. Line a small baking sheet with foil.
  2. Place English muffin halves cut-side up on a baking sheet. Top with tomatoes and drizzle with olive oil. Top with Canadian bacon and mozzarella. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown. Sprinkle with basil.
