Great news: you can cook a delicious beef steak in an air fryer! Large, thick cuts of steak, like sirloin steak, are best—they'll develop a nice crust on the outside without overcooking the inside. Follow the cooking time specified in the recipe to ensure the steak reaches your desired doneness. To serve, prepare a fragrant butter with garlic and fresh herbs. Spoon it over the hot steak, let it melt, and enjoy!

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:

  • 1 sirloin steak weighing 450 g, approximately 2.5 cm thick.
  • 60 g unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely grated
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • Special equipment: air grill with a capacity of 3.5 liters.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Let the steak sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
  2. Preheat a 3.5-liter air fryer to 200°C. Sprinkle the steak on both sides with a generous pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

  3. Place the steak in the center of the air fryer and cook until desired doneness, about 10 minutes for medium, 12 minutes for medium, and 14 minutes for well done. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, combine the butter, parsley, chives, garlic, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl. Slice the steak across the grain into 0.5 cm thick slices. Top with the garlic-herb butter.
