Ingredients for the recipe:
Wings
- Vegetable oil
- 2 kg chicken wings, cut in half (remove the tips)
- 0.33 l of beer
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce, such as Uncle Ben's
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons chipotle hot sauce
Dip sauce
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Half a clove of garlic, finely grated

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Dip sauce:
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, lemon zest and juice, garlic, and 0.5 teaspoon salt. Refrigerate until ready to serve. - Preheat oven to 220°C. Generously grease 2 rimmed baking sheets.
- Wings:
In a large bowl, toss the wings with 2 teaspoons of salt and a few grinds of black pepper. Arrange them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets.
