Chicken wings in a sticky Asian glaze are the perfect accompaniment to beer. The beauty of this recipe is that the wings are baked in the oven rather than fried, resulting in a less greasy finish. Marinate them for several hours in a mixture of soy sauce and lime juice and bake, brushing them with a spicy honey glaze made with Korean gochujang paste and garlic a few minutes before they're done.

The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Place the wings in a zip-lock plastic bag. Add sesame oil, soy sauce, and lime juice to the bag. Seal and toss the wings to coat with the marinade. Refrigerate and marinate for 3 hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 220°C. Place wings on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.

  3. While the wings are baking, prepare the Spicy Honey Glaze with Korean Gochujang Paste and Garlic. Combine the honey, chili paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, and garlic in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat. Stir until smooth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove the wings from the oven and pour the glaze over them. Toss with a spatula to coat thoroughly. Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the glaze has set. Toss the wings to coat thoroughly, and serve.
