As the name suggests, these chicken wings taste like a bowl of chili con carne. First, marinate the wings in a thick paste of chili powder, sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, and chipotle peppers, then grill until crispy. A few minutes before they're done, brush the wings with the paste again to create a delicious glaze. Grab plenty of napkins and enjoy!

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a bowl, combine the chili powder, sugar, vinegar, oil, chipotle pepper, 1 tablespoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper to form a thick paste. Place half of the paste in a large zip-lock plastic bag.
- Place the wings in a bag and seal. Massage the wings in the bag to evenly coat them with the mixture. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat; lightly oil the grates. Grill the wings until the skin is crispy, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Brush the wings with the remaining spice mixture and continue grilling until the glaze sets, about 2 more minutes. Transfer the wings to a platter and serve.
