Chicken wings in mango glaze


How to Make Mango-Glazed Chicken Wings

A simple and quick weekend dish – these delicious chicken wings will disappear in minutes. The wings are baked in the oven, and thanks to turmeric, mango chutney, and yellow mustard, they acquire a sweet and spicy flavor and a delicious yellow hue with a golden brown crust. To prevent the glaze from burning, brush the wings with chutney just 5 minutes before they're done. This appetizer will be a hit with both adults and children. Serve with mango chutney for dipping and enjoy.


Ingredients:

  • 12 chicken wings
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 0.5 tsp coarse salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. mango chutney
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Toss 12 chicken wings with 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt, and black pepper to taste. Place on a greased baking sheet; bake at 425°F (220°C) until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Mix 1 tbsp. mango chutney With 2 tablespoons each of lemon juice and yellow mustard, and a pinch of salt. Toss the chicken with half the sauce; return to the baking sheet and bake for another 5 minutes. Serve with the remaining sauce.
