Crab rangoons are loved for the wonderful contrast between the crispy batter and the soft, cheesy crab filling. This appetizer is especially popular in Chinese restaurants in the United States, but thanks to an air fryer, it's easy to make at home. With this clever appliance, you don't need as much oil as deep-frying, and your kitchen won't be splattered.

Recipes with similar ingredients: crab meat, wonton dough, Asian sweet and spicy sauce, cream cheese, green onions
Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- In a medium bowl, use a rubber spatula to combine the crabmeat, cream cheese, white parts of the green onions, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Beat the egg in a small bowl.
- Place 1 piece of wonton dough on a work surface (keep the remaining dough in its packaging or cover it with a towel to prevent it from drying out). Spoon 2 teaspoons of crab filling into the center of the dough. Dip your finger in the egg and run it around the edges of the dough.
- Shape the wonton into a pyramid by lifting two corners and pressing them together with your fingertips, then lift the other two corners and do the same. Repeat with the remaining dough pieces and filling. Spray the wontons on all sides with cooking spray.
- Preheat the air fryer to 175°C (350°F). Place the crab rangoons in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they don't touch (cook in batches if necessary). Fry until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes. Sprinkle with green onions and serve with sweet chili sauce for dipping.
