Juicy baked salmon fillet with a savory-sweet flavor is served with a fresh, tart salsa made with grapefruit, sweet, and hot peppers. The salsa can be made with fresh grapefruit, carefully peeled, or canned grapefruit.

- 2 tsp corn oil
Grapefruit salsa
- 2 cups canned grapefruit wedges or 3 fresh grapefruits, peeled and cut into wedges
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeño pepper, diced

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- Combine paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, oregano, thyme, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Cut the salmon into quarters and brush with oil.
