These big, juicy burgers taste just like pizza. The thick patty is topped with red onions, pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, and plenty of melty cheese, all served on buns slathered in tomato marinara sauce.
The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:
- 450 g of ground beef
- 450 g raw Italian sausages without casings
- 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- 12 slices provolone
- 16 slices pepperoni
- Thinly sliced red onion, for topping
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced into thick rounds
- Sliced black olives, for topping
- 8 tbsp. l. purchased marinara sauce + a little more
- 4 quality hamburger buns
- Butter
- Grated Parmesan

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:
- Combine ground beef, Italian sausage, and Italian seasoning in a bowl. Mix and form into four large, thick patties.
- Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry the patties on one side for a few minutes, then flip.
- Top each patty with 2 slices of provolone cheese, then 4 slices of pepperoni. Add a couple of thin slices of red onion, a slice of green pepper, and a heaping pile of olives. Drizzle with a little marinara sauce, then place another slice of cheese on top of all the toppings.
- Cover the pan and let the patties cook through until the cheese is melted and the pepperoni is heated through.
- Cut the buns in half and fry them in butter in a skillet until golden brown. Brush both halves with a generous amount of marinara sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Place the patties on the bottom halves of the buns, top with the top halves. Serve immediately.
