Another great use for an air fryer: you can cook burgers in it! This eliminates the hassle of firing up the grill, creating smoke in the kitchen, or creating greasy splatters everywhere. You can use this recipe and add your favorite toppings, like onion jam, barbecue sauce, or unique seasonings.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 700 g ground beef (20% fat)
  • 8 slices of cheddar
  • 8 slices of fried bacon
  • 8 slider buns, cut in half
  • 4 lettuce leaves, each leaf cut in half
  • 2 plum tomatoes, cut into 8 rounds
  • 1 red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 0.5 tbsp. barbecue sauce
  • 0.5 cups ketchup
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.5 cup yellow mustard
  • Special equipment: air fryer

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Preheat the air fryer to 190°C.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a ball, then flatten it so that each patty is slightly wider than the bun (they should be about 1 cm thick). Make a small indentation in the center of each patty. Season generously with salt and pepper.

  3. Place the patties in a single layer in the air fryer. Close the air fryer and cook until the patties are golden brown and an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the patty reads 145°F (65°C), 5–7 minutes.
  4. Place a slice of cheese and a slice of bacon on each patty and cook until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness, about 1 minute.
  5. Carefully remove the patties from the air fryer and place them on the bottom halves of the buns. Top each patty with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and 1 tablespoon each of barbecue sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. Top with the top halves of the buns and serve.
