A recipe for a salad of cabbage, carrots, and onions, dressed with mayonnaise and apple cider vinegar.



The recipes use measuring containers with the following volumes:
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Ingredients for the recipe:


  • 1 head of cabbage weighing 900 g, shredded, crushed by hand
  • 4 carrots, cut into strips
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced ​​into half rings
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • Coarse salt

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:


  1. Prepare the salad dressing: In a salad bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, apple cider vinegar, sugar, a teaspoon of black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of ground cayenne pepper.
