This burger perfectly balances the spiciness of jerk seasoning with the sweetness of mango chutney. Add the flavorful seasoning to ground turkey patties and sprinkle it on the buns before lightly toasting. Place the cooked patties on the buns and top with coleslaw, carrots, and onions, dressed with a unique mayonnaise-and-mango chutney dressing—an Indian, savory-sweet sauce. Its fruity notes add a refreshing twist to the meaty burger.

Cooking the dish according to the recipe:

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium heat. In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, jerk seasoning, apple, panko, and 1/4 cup green onions; season with salt and pepper. Form into 4 1-inch-thick patties, making a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent puffing on the grill. Refrigerate.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and mango chutneyAdd cabbage, carrots and the remaining 1/4 cup green onions, season with salt and pepper and mix everything together.

  3. Brush the grill with canola oil. Grill the turkey patties until cooked through, 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. Spread mayonnaise on the buns and sprinkle with jerk seasoning. Grill for about 30 seconds. Top with patties and cabbage and serve.
