A baleada is a traditional Honduran snack, vaguely reminiscent of Mexican tacos or quesadillas. Its basic ingredients are a wheat tortilla and refried beans, spread like a paste on the flatbread. The snack is topped with other ingredients to suit your taste, but most commonly includes sour cream, grated cheese, sliced ​​avocado, fried eggs, and chorizo ​​sausage. Everything is spread on the flatbread and then folded in half. Prepare a baleada with all of these ingredients and fully enjoy its amazing flavor.


Ingredients:

  • 10 wheat tortillas
  • 450 g canned refried beans
  • 10 tbsp sour cream
  • 220 gr. queso duro (or other cheese), grated
  • Avocado, sliced ​​(optional)
  • Scrambled eggs (optional)
  • Chorizo ​​(optional)
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
