Delicious and aromatic blueberry jam, or compote, takes less than half an hour to prepare. You can use frozen blueberries to make this delicacy year-round, perfect for serving with pancakes, ice cream, and any baked goods or desserts you like. Blueberry compote is low in sugar, just a quarter cup for every 2 cups of berries, and is made with lemon juice. The result is a very balanced berry flavor without being overly cloying.
