Chocolate Coconut Macarons

How to Make Chocolate Coconut Macarons
Time: 40 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 24 pcs.

Despite the similarity in name, macarons differ significantly from the famous French macarons in their ingredients, shape, and preparation method. Unlike macarons, which require skill to prepare, macarons are quite simple and are most often made, especially in the American version, with coconut flakes. Although they may not be as elegant in appearance, the taste is no less impressive, with its own unique twist. The coconut flakes are whipped together with egg whites and powdered sugar and baked into small balls or mounds. A real find for those seeking delicious gluten-free baked goods.
