This coming Christmas or New Year's, delight your loved ones with a charming Christmas tree cake, easily assembled from cupcakes. It's easy to serve and eat, one cupcake at a time, and looks very elegant and impressive. The cake base is made from 23 chocolate cupcakes. Arrange them in a triangle and decorate with vanilla icing tinted green, then coat the tree trunk with chocolate icing. To decorate, you'll need a pastry bag, colorful candies for the Christmas tree ornaments, and yellow gumdrops for the star on top.


Ingredients:

Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place 21 cupcakes tightly on a platter or board in a triangle shape, with 6 cupcakes at the base. Place 2 cupcakes underneath to form the trunk of the tree. Break a graham cracker in half, spread with chocolate icing, and press it onto the trunk, as shown in the photo.
  • Step 2
  • Spread the remaining chocolate frosting on the bottom two cupcakes, using an offset spatula to create texture. Tint the vanilla frosting green and transfer it to a pastry bag fitted with an open star tip. Starting at the bottom of the triangle and working upward, pipe green frosting onto the tops of each cupcake using small downward strokes to completely cover the tree.
  • Step 3
  • Decorate the tree with candy. Flatten a gumdrop and cut it into a star. Place it at the top of the tree.

    Note


    To make the chocolate glaze for the trunk, mix 0.5 cups of vanilla glaze with 100 grams of melted dark chocolate.
