Ingredients:

  • 6 physalis fruits
  • 1 canned chipotle chili pepper
  • 1 tsp. adobo sauce
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tsp olive oil
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Char the tomatillos over an open flame for 5 minutes, until the skins are charred. Cool, then peel. Place the tomatillos in a blender and add the chili pepper, adobo sauce, lime juice, garlic, and olive oil. Puree until smooth, then add a little water and salt to taste.
