Salmon croquettes are delicious and quick cutlets that cook in just 15 minutes. They're perfect as a main course or as an appetizer when served with a dipping sauce. They're made from canned salmon fillet. It's shredded, mixed with egg, breadcrumbs, and green onions, then formed into patties, coated with breadcrumbs, and pan-fried. The croquettes are juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and bursting with the pleasant aroma of green onions.


Ingredients:

  • 2 canned salmon fillets, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp green onions, diced
  • 0.5 tbsp. breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a medium skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Step 2
  • Combine canned fish, beaten egg, green onions, and 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. Form into patties and sprinkle with the remaining breadcrumbs. Fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
