Want to impress your guests without the hassle of cooking? This simple dip, made with just 100g of silky smoked salmon, is perfect as an appetizer and pairs well with fresh vegetables, crackers, or baguette toast.

Ingredients:

  • 220 g of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup sour milk or whole milk
  • 0.5 tsp lemon zest + 1 tbsp lemon juice (from 1 lemon)
  • 2 tbsp horseradish, squeeze out the liquid
  • 110 g smoked salmon, finely chopped (about 0.5 cups)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 4 sprigs fresh green onions, thinly sliced
  • Sliced ​​cucumbers, radishes, bell peppers, and/or crackers for serving
Substituting ingredients

    Step 1
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, buttermilk or regular milk, lemon zest, lemon juice, horseradish, and a large pinch of salt and pepper until smooth.

  • Add the smoked fish, dill, and green onions and stir to distribute the ingredients evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Transfer the dip to a small serving bowl and serve with vegetables and/or crackers.
