Bagel sandwiches with spicy omelet and smoked salmon - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 40 g smoked salmon (about 2 slices), finely chopped
  • 40 gr. curd cheese
  • 1.5 tsp Sriracha sauce (Asian chili sauce)
  • 2 bagels (baked potato buns shaped like donuts, See the bagel recipe here), cut lengthwise
  • 1 tbsp (15 g) unsalted butter
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a small bowl, combine cucumber and green onion, add lemon juice, sesame oil and a pinch of salt.
  • Step 2
  • Lightly toast the buns. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat.

    Add the eggs and a pinch of salt and cook for 2 minutes, stirring, until almost set.

    Add salmon, cream cheese and Sriracha sauce and cook for another 1 minute until eggs are set.

  • Place the egg mixture on the buns and top with the cucumber salad.
