Ingredients:

  • 70 g (about 1/2 cup) whole grain flour
  • 3 tbsp melted butter (portions)
  • 3 tbsp vanilla sugar, plus extra for serving
  • 1/2 tsp coarse salt
  • 1/2 cup milk at room temperature
  • 2 category CO eggs at room temperature
  • Lemon wedges
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place 2 tablespoons of melted butter in a 25cm cast iron skillet and place it in the oven. Set aside the remaining few tablespoons of butter and let them cool slightly. Let them sit for 10 minutes before adding them to the batter.

    Place the flour, vanilla sugar, salt, milk, eggs, and remaining melted butter in a food processor or blender. Blend for 30 seconds.

  • Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Carefully pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake in the center of the oven for 30-35 minutes, until the edges are puffed and golden brown. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar and serve with lemon wedges.
