Airy pancakes with apples - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 2 jars apple pie filling
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup premium wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 180°C.

    In a 12-inch cast iron skillet, heat the apple filling, butter and cinnamon.

    In a bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the milk, flour, sour cream, lemon zest, and salt. Beat until the batter is smooth.

    Pour the batter into the pan over the apple mixture and immediately place the pan in the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the pancakes are puffed and golden brown. Using a small sieve, lightly dust the surface of the pancakes with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
