Baklava cookies

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). For the filling, combine 1.5 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons butter, and 1/4 cup powdered sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Melt and bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool. While the mixture is cooling, roll the thawed cookie dough into 2-inch (5 cm) balls. Bake for about 8 minutes, or until the cookies are 2-3 minutes from set. Remove from the oven and spoon a small amount of filling into each cookie, then bake until golden brown.
Baklava Toasts

Toast two slices of bread until golden brown. Brush each with butter, then drizzle with honey and sprinkle with chopped pistachios, walnuts, and cinnamon—simple, yet delicious!
Baklava in rolls

To make these miniature rolls, all you need is store-bought phyllo dough, walnuts, pistachios, and a few familiar ingredients: melted butter, cinnamon, sugar, and honey.
Step 1

Preheat oven to 160°C. In a food processor, pulse 1/2 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup pistachios, 1 tablespoon melted butter, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 2 tablespoons honey until smooth.
Step 2

Spread melted butter between three layers of filo pastry, then spread 1/3 of the filling on the short side of the pastry. Add two more layers of pastry, brushing them with butter.
Step 3

Roll the dough into a long cigar shape, then cut into three pieces. Repeat twice more, then bake in a greased pan for 35-40 minutes.
Step 4

Drizzle with honey and serve.

These delicate phyllo dough shells are the perfect "bowl" for ice cream, whether store-bought or homemade. To make this party dessert, you'll need phyllo dough, melted butter, vanilla ice cream, pistachios, walnuts, cinnamon, and honey.
Step 1

To make the pastry basket, spread melted butter between 5 layers of filo dough, then cut the dough into 6 rectangles.
Step 2

Place the resulting dough pieces into muffin tins and bake at 190°C for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 3

Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream into each cooled cupcake, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with chopped pistachios, walnuts, and cinnamon.
Baklava in baskets

To begin, spread melted butter between 5 layers of phyllo dough. Cut into 12 rectangles and place in muffin tins. Bake at 190°C (350°F) for 10 minutes, or until golden brown. For the filling, combine 1/2 cup chopped nuts with 1 tablespoon melted butter, 2 tablespoons honey, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Fill the phyllo shells and bake for 10 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
