Ingredients:

  • 225 g of cone-shaped pasta
  • 4 tbsp (60 g) butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 170 concentrated milk
  • 1/2 tsp hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • Fresh black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp dry mustard
  • 280 g coarsely grated sharp cheddar cheese
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a large saucepan of boiling salted water, cook the pasta until al dente, then drain. Return to the pan and melt the butter. Stir.
  • Step 2
  • Combine the egg, milk, hot sauce, salt, pepper, and mustard. Stir in the pasta and add the cheese. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes, until the sauce is creamy.
