Pinot Noir wine

Pinot Noir is a grape variety that's quite difficult to grow, but when properly cultivated, it produces a very elegant, high-quality wine of the same name. Pinot Noir will never be as popular as Shiraz, but recently introduced cultivation techniques make it easier to cultivate.

Pinot Noir wine (in Russian it is often referred to as Pinot Noir, and in French as Pinot Noir) is related to Pinot Meunier (red) and Pinot Gris (white) wines.

Pinot Noir grapes are grown in New Zealand, on the northern coast of California, along the Russian River in the United States, and in Carneros, California. In addition to the wine that bears its name, it is used to make various varieties of many other wines.

How and where is it produced? Burgundy, France, is considered the traditional homeland of Pinot Noir. However, the French regions of Alsace and Loire are also significant producers. Pinot Noir is also produced in Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe, the US states of California and Oregon, Chile, New Zealand, and Australia.

This sparkling wine is traditionally produced in the same way as Champagne. Incidentally, Pinot Noir, along with Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, is one of the main components of Champagne.

Store or drink? Pinot Noir is a very interesting wine! It's intoxicating when young, but with age, it develops more complex flavors and aromas. It can be stored for 5-10 years or more.
