Photo of Pinotage Wine

Pinotage is a South African grape variety that was created in 1925 by crossing varieties Pinot Noir and Cinsault. For many years, it was used to produce wine in huge quantities, the quality of which was initially unimportant. This continued until a few producers brought the quality up to all necessary standards. Now, this wine is sold everywhere, and it's of exceptionally high quality.
