Birds are used in the preparation of this simple but very impressive dessert. Peeps Marshmallows. Sandwich vanilla ice cream between two birds, and you've got a perfect treat, perhaps for Easter, that screams spring with its very appearance!


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 liters of vanilla ice cream
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Remove the birds from two 90g packages, but do not separate them (you will have four rows in total).
  • Step 2
  • Turn a 1.5-liter rectangular container of vanilla ice cream on its side and cut off a 3-cm-thick slice. Remove the cardboard, then cut the ice cream in half lengthwise. Place each half between two rows of birds and trim off any excess ice cream. Freeze, then slice into individual desserts.
