Southern Driver Cocktail


How to Make the Southern Driver Cocktail

This cocktail made with bourbon, fruity whiskey, and orange juice is delicious, but quite strong. Its tart flavor is so pleasantly balanced by sweet notes that it's easy to get carried away. And then the "Southern Driver" will take you far.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cube of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of water
  • A little bitter
  • 1 shot of whiskey
  • 1 shot of flavored whiskey (recommended: Southern Comfort)
  • A little orange juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slices for decoration
  • Maraschino cherry for garnish
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • In a whiskey glass, combine a sugar cube, 1 teaspoon of water, and a splash of bitters. Add whiskey, flavored whiskey, and orange juice. Stir. Top with ice.
  • Step 2
  • Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.
