Moist and soft, it's filled with chocolate chunks and melting caramel. Top it off with ice cream or marshmallow fluff. This dessert can be the perfect finishing touch to a meal or a meal replacement when you're home alone. Just sit back and enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. premium flour
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of coarse salt
  • 3 tbsp. milk
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • A drop of vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 Golden Key soft toffees, cut in half
  • 1 tbsp. Marshmallow Cream Dessert
  • A little dessert caramel sauce, for serving
  • Vanilla ice cream, for serving
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place the flour, sugar, cocoa, walnuts, baking powder, and salt in a 350 ml microwave-safe mug. Mix well with a fork. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Stir in the chocolate chips and toffee. Wipe the rim of the mug.
  • Step 2
  • Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Let cool in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, then top the cake with marshmallow fluff (or vanilla ice cream) and drizzle with caramel sauce.
