Next time you're craving chocolate cake, remember you can whip up a slice in less than five minutes. Baked in a microwave-safe mug, it's moist, tender, and deliciously chocolatey. No need to wait for a special occasion to indulge!

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. premium flour
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt, optional
  • 3 tbsp. milk
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • A little vanilla extract, optional
  • 3 tbsp dark chocolate granules
  • Special equipment: 350ml microwave-safe ceramic mug and microwave oven
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Place the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, if using, in a microwave-safe ceramic mug. Mix thoroughly with a fork. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla, if using, and mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips.
