Instead of classic French Champagne, Giada De Laurentiis chooses sparkling wine as the base of her cocktail for this recipe, which she complements with zesty lemon sorbet and fresh mint.


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chilled Italian sparkling white wine "Prosecco"
  • 2 tbsp. chilled vodka
  • 1/3 tbsp. lemon sorbet
  • 1/4 teaspoon chopped fresh mint leaves
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Fill two champagne flutes with the wine and vodka mixture. Add a spoonful of sorbet to each glass. Sprinkle with mint and serve immediately.
