How to Make Edamame Beans with Bacon

Unripe edamame soybeans in their pods are a delicious snack with beer and other alcoholic beverages, perfect for house parties or a night watching a game or movie. They disappear like popcorn, but they're much healthier, rich in protein and numerous micronutrients. They can be boiled, microwaved, or sautéed. For an even more delicious snack, toss the pods with spices and sprinkle with crumbled bacon. This will give the beans a savory, smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with a glass of beer.
