Ingredients:

  • 2 apples
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • A pinch of salt
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Core the apples and trim off the tops and bottoms. Cut the remaining apple cores into thick rings.
  • Step 2
  • In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium heat. Add the apple rings and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side. Add the pomegranate juice, sugar, and a pinch of salt to the skillet; continue cooking, turning, until the apples are glazed, 3 to 4 minutes. Serve the apples warm.
