Fried peppers with olives - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 6-8 small sweet peppers
  • 1 cup mixed olives
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 sprigs of sage
  • Zest of 1 lemon, cut into strips
  • 1 tsp dried pepper flakes
  • 8 cloves garlic, crushed
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over high heat, add sage sprigs, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1 minute. Add the bell peppers and sauté on all sides for about 3 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Add the garlic and cook, stirring, for another 3 minutes. Add the olives and cook for another 2 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and serve with white bread.
