Thai-style fried bananas - a detailed recipe.


Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
  • 4 fresh, firm bananas, peeled and cut into 2.5-5 cm pieces
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • Juice of 1 lime
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Heat a wok over high heat and add 2 tablespoons (30 g) of butter. Once melted, add the bananas, stir, and add 1/4 cup of sugar. Dissolve the sugar and add the sesame seeds and lime juice. Stir and serve.
