Recipe for a side dish of kale stewed in chicken broth.


Ingredients:

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 500 g kale, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Add the onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the kale, chicken broth, salt, and pepper.
  • Step 2
  • Cover and simmer until the leaves are tender, about 45 minutes.
