Candied pecans

How to Make Candied Pecans
Time: 55 min.

Candied pecans make a delicious snack or an interesting addition to other dishes and desserts. To make them, combine the pecan halves in a mixture of egg whites, sugar, and cinnamon and bake in the oven, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has completely dried on the surface of the pecans. Pour the candied pecans into a bowl and serve as a treat, or add them to other desserts, salads, cheese appetizers, and fruit platters. You can also use this recipe as a base and candied pecans with other spices of your choice.
