How to Make - Sweet Hot Cottage Cheese Sandwich for Breakfast

These sweet cottage cheese sandwiches are made with frozen toaster waffles. They are topped with a mixture of cream cheese, cottage cheese, and powdered sugar, which, when whipped, turns into a delicious cream cheese frosting, and jam. We recommend

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and powdered sugar. Spread jam on 2 wafers, then top with the cottage cheese mixture and top with the remaining 2 wafers.
  • Step 2
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sandwiches and cook until golden brown and crisp, about 3 minutes per side, adding more butter to the pan if needed. Adjust the heat if the waffles are browning too quickly.
  • Step 3
  • Let the sandwiches rest for 1 minute and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
