Hot sandwich with physalis, bacon and goat cheese

How to Make - Hot Sandwich with Vegetables, Physalis, Bacon, and Goat Cheese
Time: 20 min.
Complexity: easily
Quantity: 4 sandwiches

Try making this sandwich so it can be baked, which makes the cheese even more tender; the brie gives it a melted texture. It has the subtle aroma of goat cheese, the herbaceous flavor of green tomato and watercress. Crispy bacon completes the perfect sandwich.

  • 8 slices of sandwich bread
  • 16 slices bacon with fat trimmed
  • 200 g of butter at room temperature
  • 350g or less good quality brie cheese
  • 2 pcs. physalis, sliced
  • 250 g soft goat cheese, cut into 8 slices
  • Watercress
