Mango Slush Margarita

Complexity: easily
Servings: 8
Summer, relaxation, an elevated holiday spirit, and a bright, heady mango Margarita. What else do you need for a great time? The Margarita is a delicious, refreshing alcoholic cocktail made with tequila, lime or lemon juice, triple sec, and ice. The cocktail is of Latin American origin, dating back to approximately 1936-1948. There are many theories about its origin, but almost all of them involve a woman named Margarita. One of the most popular versions credits the Margarita Sams, who created the cocktail at a reception in Acapulco in 1948, mixing tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice. The cocktail was a hit with Tommy Hilton, owner of the Hilton Hotels chain. Hilton then spread the recipe to the bars and restaurants of his hotels.
