Ingredients:

  • Baguette, cut into thin slices
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, plus more for sprinkling
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chopped unsalted pistachios
  • Grated chocolate
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

Preparation:

    Step 1
  • Place baguette slices on a baking sheet. Spread with butter and sprinkle with salt and sugar. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (425°F) until golden brown, about 7 minutes. Remove the bread slices from the oven and let cool slightly.
  • Step 2
  • Beat ricotta cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla extract in a mixer.
  • Step 3
  • Spread the cheese mixture on the bread slices. Sprinkle with pistachios, chocolate, and powdered sugar.
