Italian bruschetta is the perfect treat for any occasion, whether a friendly get-together or a more formal event. This light appetizer, a crisp slice of bread topped with a juicy salad, blends the vibrant flavors of Mediterranean cuisine. For the salad, toss finely chopped grape tomatoes and strawberries with olive oil, aromatic basil, and balsamic vinegar, which accentuates the sweet flavor of the tomatoes and berries with a touch of tartness.
