Taco dip

How to Make Taco Dip
Time: 25 min.
Complexity: easily
Servings: 6 - 8

Make tacos as dips. It's much easier than assembling individual tacos: the prepared meat and bean filling is coated with sour cream and baked in the oven under a layer of shredded sharp cheddar until the cheese melts. The filling is then topped with traditional taco toppings: sliced tomatoes, shredded iceberg lettuce, olives, and jalapeños. Serve directly in the casserole, with tortilla chips nearby for scooping up the appetizer and enjoying it with a cold beer. The meat filling can be made a day ahead and refrigerated.
