This side dish is the easiest way to enjoy the flavors of Tex-Mex cuisine. Ree Drummond sprinkles taco seasoning on skinned potatoes, drizzles with oil, and bakes them until golden brown. Serve with any Tex-Mex meat dish.

  • 2.3 kg baking potatoes with dark brown skin and white flesh, washed thoroughly with a brush and cut into large pieces
  • 0.5 cups refined vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup taco seasoning

3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.

  • Place potatoes in a large bowl, drizzle with vegetable oil and sprinkle with taco seasoningStir thoroughly to coat.
