Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup coarse salt
  • 2 tablespoons ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons ground sumac
  • 2 tbsp. l. dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. l. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sherry vinegar
Substituting ingredients
1 glass (st.) - 250 ml.
3/4 cup (st.) - 180 ml.
2/3 cup (st.) - 160 ml.
1/2 cup (st.) - 125 ml.
1/3 cup (st.) - 80 ml.
1/4 cup (st.) - 60 ml.
1 tablespoon (tbsp) - 15 ml.
1 teaspoon (tsp) - 5 ml.
1/5 teaspoon (tsp) - 1 ml.

    Step 1
  • Place salt, ground pepper, sumac, oregano, lemon juice, olive oil, brown sugar, and vinegar in a bowl. Stir.

    Use it in your favorite meat dishes, prepared to your liking. The spice mixture can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
